On 15 Oct 2014, HKSS helped organize the Lee Kum Kee Tour for students who majored in Environmental Management for Business from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The tour provided students with firsthand experience to observe how an ethnic Chinese enterprise works towards environmental sustainability.

Students learned about the success legend of LKK.
In this tour, Lee Kum Kee staff presented to the students about the history and the environmental management system of the enterprise, along with a few introductions on Chinese culinary culture. During the following factory tour as the second stage of the tour, students visited the Quality Assurance Division and Testing Laboratory, Product Control Centre and the Culinary Centre.

Energy and water conservation, waste reduction, recycling measures, green office management and other management system related to environmental protection, such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) are implemented in their production plants worldwide.
